Craft Beer & Seafood Trail
Leave the busy city behind and discover the beauty of the Emerald Isle with the help of Howth’s craft beer and fresh seafood
Visiting Howth? Why not see it through the eyes of a local with the help of Mark and this unique experience; the Craft Beer & Seafood Trail
One of the things Howth is best known for, as you know by now, is the fresh seafood on offer here. However, knowing the best spots to indulge in can be different.
Firstly, you’ll walk the harbour, taking in the sites that our East Pier has to offer. Following from there, you’ll make your way up to Howth head for some excellent panoramic views. Along the route, you’ll hear tales of the Norman and Viking Invasions and even legends from our 700 year old Castle. After a busy day’s sightseeing, relax under the guidance of a local and visit several different bars and restaurants in this beautiful fishing village. Not only will you get to taste all the local beers that are crafted in the locality but some of the freshest seafood in Ireland. For instance, mussels, Dublin bay prawns, oysters, seafood chowder and much more.
We loved Mark’s craft beer and seafood trail tour of Howth. With plenty of samples of amazing local craft beers, an abundance of delicious fresh seafood and several local historical stories. We had a great time! Mark is an excellent host and is incredibly knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour!
